Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has insisted he is excited about the future of the club. Ten Hag had to wait more than two weeks before United decided to keep him. After leading the club to FA Cup glory by beating Manchester City in the final on May 25.

On July 4, after talks with the Dutch coach, the club confirmed the option to extend his contract. Which now runs out in 2026 UFABET 

In his first interview since the announcement. Ten Hag said he would not sign a new contract if he was not excited about the future.

United have made significant structural changes since joint ownership of Eneos was confirmed in December.

Rather than feeling less empowered, Ten Hag believes the changes will move the club in a better direction.

“The new owners have come in and they can help us.” the 54-year-old said.

“We are very pleased with the football side, around the first team. We have a strong structure that helps us in many ways. Such as in terms of scouting and recruitment, and in terms of medical and performance.”

“They will be very supportive and that will raise the bar.”
